The Basics: If you choose an aerial or floor yoga class ~ all our classes are appropriate for all levels of practitioners. Our teachers are trained to understand individuals bodies and practice needs. Our studio provides all props that are needed to find your practice. We do ask that you bring your own mat but, if you cannot no worries we have ones to borrow.
Aerial yoga classes are fun and offer a way for anyone to practice yoga. The aerial hammock is used as a prop to assist in providing deeper stretching, elongation of the spine, & find proper alignment, while reducing the pressure on the joints. It can take a few classes to understand how the aerial hammock works with your body & practice. We ask that you wear a t-shirt instead of a tank top to class & that you do not wear rings, wrist jewelry, necklaces, or dangling earrings. This is to prevent any tearing of the hammock and for your safety.
What You Need To Know: Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for class and let your teacher know of any injuries or restrictions that you may have. Bring a mat, but if you do not have one...don't worry you can borrow one of ours. Drink plenty of water and bring a water bottle with you. And keep it light, try not to eat heavy before you come to class.
