What Is Integrative Healing?
"If we change the body we change the mental & emotional systems & change the person" ~ Thomas Myers ~
Healing is a daily process & does not mean something is broken or wrong. I have learned through my process that healing means working at myself every day. I have helped my process through my own trainings and other healers helping me reach my goals. My hope is to work with you to develop skills that you can use to heal yourself & develop a practice for self happiness.
This blend of alternative medicinal practices, complemented by deeply guided intuition, restores the body to it’s natural state of vibrancy and internal energy flow by releasing any trauma or stagnant energy stored within the fascia and cellular memory.

Reiki is a Japanese technique that is used as a way to relax, restore, and heal physical trauma, support mental clarity, & spiritual well-being. It is an ancient practice that brings the universal life force also known to many people as "Qi". The practitioner is not doing the "healing" but, is a vessel to concentrate this energy from the universe to the client. Reiki is a light to no touch therapy, where the practitioner gently places their hands over different areas of the client's body. Styles and techniques will vary depending on the practitioner and their training. The setting of a treatment room is much like any massage or spa. The biggest difference is that the client is asked to stayed clothed. Clients are able to relax and unwind on a massage table, there is typically low light, soft music, and often essentials oils to help allow the senses to relax.
A typical appointment starts with a consultation and sessions are 60-90 minutes long. Tuning forks to help open up and clear chakras may be part of a Reiki session. Cost for sessions: 60 minutes ~ $60 90 minutes ~ $75 Students/Retirees/Veterans provided a discount I also offer Reiki Level I, Level II, & Master Trainings ~ Check our the EVENTS page for more information! Reflexology Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears. Reflexologists believe that these reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them creates real benefits for the person's health. Many people confuse reflexology with massage, Reiki, or acupuncture, but there are essential differences between these therapies. Reflexology helps promote sleep, reduces stress & anxiety, and can be a benefit in aiding with pain and other chronic conditions. This includes a foot bath prior to treatment
Thai Massage with Lisa Thai massage, long considered a medical treatment in Thailand, the therapist puts you through a series of stretches that cover the entire body. (That’s why it’s often called lazy man’s yoga.) You lie on a floor mat or on a table wide enough to accommodate the therapist, and you wear loose-fitting clothing because there’s no way a sheet can stay put during these moves—the therapist might kneel on the back of your legs and pull your arms to arch your back and open your chest, or place her shoulder under your heel to lift your leg and stretch your hamstring. Thai massage also includes deep-pressure point work to stimulate the sen, or the body’s energy pathways.

Craniosacral Therapy with Cara
(The following explanation is an excerpt from The Upledger Institute’s website. www.upledger.com) CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams –about the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. Few structures have as much influence over the body& ability to function properly as the brain and spinal cord that make up the central nervous system. And, the central nervous system is heavily influenced by the craniosacral system – the membranes and fluid that surround, protect and nourish the brain and spinal cord. Every day your body endures stresses and strains that cause body tissues to tighten and distort the craniosacral system and then cause tension to form around the brain and spinal cord resulting in restrictions. This can create a barrier to the healthy performance of the central nervous system, and potentially every other system it interacts with.
